The commission
From measure to finish.
Every piece travels the same four stations. Allow twelve to sixteen weeks — and three fittings — from first measure to the final press.
Step 01 — Measure
Measure
Twenty-two measurements taken by hand, plus a study of posture and shoulder slope. We draft a paper pattern that becomes yours, kept on file for every future commission.
Step 02 — Cloth
Cloth
Open the swatch library together and choose by feel. We guide weight and weave to the way you'll actually wear the piece — never push the bolt with the highest margin.
Step 03 — Fitting
Fitting
A basted calico fitting first, then a second in your cloth. We mark, unpick, and re-cut the canvas until the garment sits dead-still when you move.
Step 04 — Finish
Finish
Hand-stitched buttonholes, a pad-stitched lapel, and a final press. Your initials are sewn into the lining before the piece leaves the workroom.
